Carla Moreno is a world music explorer, writer, and DJ. Trekking solo across the globe, Carla’s fascination with world cultures goes beyond curiosity. Her experience as a musician, teacher, and writer grant her the opportunity to educate people both young and old in efforts to foster cultural understanding, appreciation, and love for one another.

Between adventures, this wanderlust serves as a teaching artist for Arts Corps as well as a guest DJ for the Daily Planet show on KBCS 91.3fm in Seattle, WA.

Carla’s passion for world cultures have led her to meeting and discussing important global issues with well known figures such as National Geographic and Oprah Winfrey reporter, Lisa Ling; widely published photographer, Alyssa Banta; musician and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, Angelique Kidjo; and the Consul General of Sweden, Olëf Wastberg.
