Adrien Miller

Adrien Miller was born in Solana Beach California in 1984 and has been creating art for as long as he can remember . His love for painting started in high school with graffiti. After the second time being arrested for giving art to the public, he decided to change the focus of his creative energy to canvas’. During his attendance in the art program at Garfield High School in Seattle and earning the Visual Arts Award his senior year, he well understood that the creation of art was, is, and will be his way of life. He studied one semester at California College of the Arts, and felt the strong need to experience directly the art in which he held in highest regard. He took a year off to travel and make art independently. He visited Spain, Italy and Switzerland with the intention to draw, paint, and study the works of the old Masters. He returned to CCA after recognizing that many of the works that inspired him required facilities and a knowledge of materials that school offered. He received his BFA in the summer of 2007, combining the disciplines of sculpture, photography, painting, and media arts into his artistic process. He now lives and works in Seattle Washington.
