Call in the CorpsPartner to host our program.
"Arts Corps students gain confidence in the classes, and that shines through their work and their personal lives as well. These students learn to think through art, and therefore, can think in different ways in the classroom." Bring the Corps to your school, neighborhood or organization to offer award-winning after-school arts programming, in-school residencies or workshops for K-12th grade students, as well as professional development workshops for in-school teachers. We are also interested in partnering on special projects. Arts Corps classes engage young people in creative habits of mind. Evaluation data from the 2006-2007 school year confirms that students engage in increased critical thinking, courage & risk-taking and imagining possibilities, as well as perceive themselves as more creative after taking an Arts Corps class. In addition, 43 percent of our program partners from the same school year report that the level of engagement students demonstrated in creative activities exceeded their expectations. Our tiered pricing structure allows us to partner with any school or organization in need of arts programming while ensuring access to our programs for partners serving youth from low-income families. Arts Corps seeks yearlong commitments for our after-school and out-of-school arts programs with the hope of building longer, sustained partnerships. We bring in new partners at the beginning of each school year, with decisions made during the summer for our annual partnerships. Workshops and special projects may be added at any time during the year. For more information or to express interest in partnership opportunities, please fill out this online partnership inquiry form, or contact our program partnerships staff. |
